Application
Apply Liquid Lurex directly to the eyelids with the applicator and blend out immediately with fingertips or a brush for a sparkling wash of colour. For more intense coverage apply a second layer for seamless full coverage disco drama. Liquid Lurex can also be used as an eyeliner either using a small liner brush or blended as a smoky line along the upper and lower lash line for a subtle flash of shimmering colour.
Once set the shadow dries to a completely smudge proof finish and will not move. Most skin types will not need to use primer underneath however, if you have very oily eyelids you can use your usual eye primer underneath as it will not affect the look or finish. When the party’s over, I would recommend using an oil-based makeup remover for easy removal. Screw cap on firmly after use, to prevent the product from drying out.

I purchased Rosalie myself after falling in love with the Liquid Lurex formula in Bianca, and I’m happy to say it has surpassed my expectations. Rosalie is a soft peach-rose with a neutral-warm balance: enough warmth to diffuse the redness and visible veins on my lids without ever turning brassy or orange. The shimmer is delicate and refined rather than glittery, giving a lifted, “well-rested” brightness that looks effortless.
Application is quick: I swipe a thin layer onto the lid and blend the edges with a fingertip. It sets in under a minute, dries down completely, and doesn’t leave a tacky finish. On my slightly oily lids, it lasts 10+ hours with only minimal creasing, even without primer. It also layers beautifully if I want more impact, without pilling or disturbing the first layer.
One note for anyone with pronounced texture: like most metallic liquids, it can emphasize the lid a bit if applied too heavily. A sheared-out layer keeps the finish smooth and luminous.
If you love a one-and-done shadow that flatters tired eyes and leans elegant rather than sparkly, Rosalie is impeccable. It’s instantly become a new everyday staple in my rotation.
