Application
Apply Liquid Lurex directly to the eyelids with the applicator and blend out immediately with fingertips or a brush for a sparkling wash of colour. For more intense coverage apply a second layer for seamless full coverage disco drama. Liquid Lurex can also be used as an eyeliner either using a small liner brush or blended as a smoky line along the upper and lower lash line for a subtle flash of shimmering colour.
Once set the shadow dries to a completely smudge proof finish and will not move. Most skin types will not need to use primer underneath however, if you have very oily eyelids you can use your usual eye primer underneath as it will not affect the look or finish. When the party’s over, I would recommend using an oil-based makeup remover for easy removal. Screw cap on firmly after use, to prevent the product from drying out.

The formula delivers as promised and the color is absolutely perfect! I was looking for a wash of color that had a little pizazz without fall out and held the line throughout the day. Additionally, I wasn't looking for a lot of eye lid prep, as I'm a slap-and-dash gal and this formula fits the bill perfectly. So far, so good. This is the first liquid lurex I’ve purchased, and I love it. The color is really unique and nuanced; on my skin (Seamless Skin Enhancing Tint 1.5 for reference) it appears almost pewter with a greenish undertone. It has a beautiful translucence that makes it very versatile, I find I can sheer it out very easily for day time wear, and can build it up for a more intense look. It layers well on itself and dries down quickly to a beautiful finish.
Please Lisa, make this color a part of your permanent collection! It’s so beautiful and unique!
