Application
Apply Liquid Lurex directly to the eyelids with the applicator and blend out immediately with fingertips or a brush for a sparkling wash of colour. For more intense coverage apply a second layer for seamless full coverage disco drama. Liquid Lurex can also be used as an eyeliner either using a small liner brush or blended as a smoky line along the upper and lower lash line for a subtle flash of shimmering colour.
Once set the shadow dries to a completely smudge proof finish and will not move. Most skin types will not need to use primer underneath however, if you have very oily eyelids you can use your usual eye primer underneath as it will not affect the look or finish. When the party’s over, I would recommend using an oil-based makeup remover for easy removal. Screw cap on firmly after use, to prevent the product from drying out.

Selene is what drew me to the Liquid Lurex shadows initially because it is such a stunning and unique color. It said my name as soon as I saw it. The medium greenish silver works very well with my skin tone. The formula is thicker than I expected and you have to work fast, but the shadow can be applied quite sheer or really built up for some bling. It happens to look terrific with the Kensington Plum gloss for day and if you really want glam, it goes great with Velvet Duchess. The first time I wore it, it did not last all day, so I guess my eyelids are a bit oily. However, it pretty much doesn’t budge when I layer it over a skin-toned cream shadow that I use as a primer. I am a one and done shadow girl and the Liquid Lurex shadows really fit the bill.

These are my hands down favorite liquid eyeshadows! And these limited editions set is everything I could ask for. Great addition to use. They are absolutely stunning on the eye. So easy to blend. They are a must have!!

I’ve reviewed these before but I can’t stop buying them because the formula is gorgeous and works so well with oily lids. This shade feels like more of a topper but I have worn it on its own - it’s just more subtle which is nice for some occasions.

I have very sensitive eyes and had to avoid anything with shimmer because the shimmer would fall down and irritate my eyes. Emily was so beautiful I decided to give it a try and it does not irritate my eyes! I'm so excited to be able to wear shimmer again. I can also use the Vega palette and it's gorgeous. Thank you!
