how to use

“Pinpoint® Concealing is all about precise camouflage - so that the skin in-between can be less heavily made up and the skin overall still looks natural .. It’s a trick I’ve used time and time again.”

Step 1. Take your Pinpoint® Concealer Micro Correcting Pencil and scribble softly over, on and around the small area you wish to micro camouflage, and then blend, using fingertips (or a small brush) to buff the coverage over the area and make sure the edges of the concealer are not visible.

Step 2. To help not have any visible edges, don’t apply the concealer in a completely round circle over the area, it's best if the edges are non-uniform – You want to cheat the eye away from thinking it’s been concealed! The trick is to thin out the edges so it blends in with the surrounding skin and for everything to look like it’s in one, seamless continuum.

Step 3. Go back in for a second time with your Pinpoint® Concealer, this time working more directly, stippling further coverage over the center of the area you wish to conceal.

New Holy Grail product
This is possibly my favourite skin product ever - and I’ve been a die hard makeup wearer for about 15 years now.
I don’t want this review to be overly rambling, but I just think this is such a brilliant product for multiple reasons.
First - it really is the best concealer for the purpose of targeted pinpoint concealing, which is a technique I’ve used since Lisa’s acne coverage video all those years ago. The problem I’ve often found, is trying to find a high-coverage/camouflage concealer that actually matches my foundation/tinted moisturiser, because I’m extremely pale (the best match I’ve ever found is KVD Lock it in L41, but the coverage was too full for my liking) with acne prone skin (much improved now that I’m a bit older but still get the odd angry pimple here and there), with post-acne marks that show up as extremely red on my pale skin. The other problem I found was trying to find a concealer formula that worked well for concealing tiny areas; I’ve noticed there’s been a market trend over the last decade or so, for concealers to be liquid and applied under the eyes as a form of highlighter. This meant that when I found a product with a good shade, it would often be in a liquid form, which was a problem because liquid formulas just spread *so^ far when you apply them, and suddenly this tiny area I wanted to conceal, ended up with liquid concealer over a much bigger area than I wanted.

Amazing undertone
This gave just the right amount of color correcting lift where I needed it without being ashy or too peachy. The targeted tip made it really handy for the deepest parts of my undereye shadows & the odd parts of my skin where my dark spots are in lighter areas.

Go to for inner corner concealing
For my skin tone and color of my eye darkness, I have found this color and precise tip allows me to deposit the ideal amount of product to color correct and improve my inner corner. For work, I typically do not do a full face of make up since I wear a mask all day. So I put more effort into the eye make up but still desire for simplicity and efficiency in the routine. This allows me to accomplish my morning makeup up routine more quickly and still appear polished and presentable.
