Ideal for buffing and blending your Luminist Concealer, the Micro Face Buffing Brush also lends itself perfectly to Lisa’s signature Patchwork Technique for applying Tint or Foundation, as well as the targeted application of liquid highlighters.

HOW TO APPLY

  • For concealer: Apply Luminist Concealer directly to the areas you want to conceal, correct or brighten. Use the No.4 to gently buff and n;emd the concealer into the skin, keeping the application targeted.
  • Build coverage gradually: For pigmentation, redness or blemishes that need a little more coverage, add a further, small amount of concealer and buff over the area. This allows you to build coverage while keeping the surrounding skin looking fresh and natural.
  • For blending: Use light buffing motions around the edges of your makeup to meld seamlessly into the skin so there are no harsh edges.
  • For cream products: The No.4 can also be used to buff and blend all complexion liquid products, making it a true ‘everything brush’.
  • For lips: Lisa uses the No.4 brush to softly blend and blur around the lip line, after applying the Sculpt and Shade Lip Pencil.

Carefully Crafted

High Performance Brush

Beautiful high-performance makeup brushes designed by Lisa and created by artisans in Japan. Using only the finest quality, state of the art synthetic hair which has been specially created by experienced craftsmen for its softness, wave, diameter and taper. 100% vegan and cruelty free, the fibres are then blended together to achieve the best performance for each type of brush. To preserve their softness the hairs are never cut, instead they are carefully positioned using a patented process that places the hairs in a ‘mould’ to sculpt the perfect makeup tool. The ergonomic handle is made from responsibly sourced ‘Japanese Cherry Blossom’ wood harvested in Kumano-town, the historical production centre of calligraphy brushes. Each handle is multicoated with soft touch, matt black lacquer, to ensure a beautiful sensorial feel and long lasting quality.

Brush Care

Brush Cleaning

For personal use, wash your brushes at least once a week in warm water using shampoo or brush soap. Gently swirl the brush angling the hairs downwards until all traces of makeup have been removed, then rinse. Prior to drying, gently tease the bristles back into shape. Then place a cloth or towel on the edge of a table and position the brushes with the bristles over the edge so they dry evenly all round. Only pack away once they are completely dry.

    Shorter than expected! But super effective at blending

    I was surprised to see that this brush is tinier as other Lisa's brushes. However, I find it does a very good job of really working the product into the skin. I love to use it with the foundations which require a bit more blending and I am always satisfied with the result. Amazing!

    Very good!

    Two in one! You can use it to define and perfect the lips, while also using it to smudge your eyeliner for a smoky or softer look. The quality is definitely worth mentioning too! I’m planning to try some of the other brushes as well!
