“I wanted to achieve with makeup what painters achieve with the ‘Velatura Technique’ – also known as ‘Veil of Colour’ or ‘Glazing’. The technique involved applying a semi-translucent wash of paint, which allowed for translucency, so the under layers of paint showed through, resulting in realistic colour shift, luminosity and added dimension.”

    Such a natural finish

    Really nice blush that can easily be used on the lips as well.

    I have the berry shade and it gives a natural flush of color. I prefer to use it on top of skin tint applying it with a kabuki style brush. It gives a nice sheen. I’ve also applied it to my lips for a seamless look and it looked lovely

    This Balm is an absolute winner!!

    I have medium skin, and wear Lisa's Enhancing Tint in T12, for reference. Hellebore Heaven is a beautiful berry shade, and will flatter all skin tones. I've been using this balm on not only my cheeks and lips, but my eyes too. It melts seamlessly into the skin, and gives such a lovely wash of color. The cheeks blend out to leave almost a watercolor finish. It's just gorgeous!! I also love that contrast of the cheeks, with the fuller opacity on my lips. The balm is buildable, and blends out in just seconds. I prefer to use my finger to apply. In my late 40's, I want makeup that is gentle on my skin, and easy to apply. This balm is exactly that. Another beautiful release from, Lisa, and I look forward to trying my second shade.

    A Minimalist’s Dream

    This is a beautiful cheek and lip product that is quick and easy to use. The shade looks intimidating in the bullet but applies as a natural, soft flush of colour on the cheeks and lips and can easily be built up for a bolder look. It also leaves a soft dewy glow to the cheeks and is very nourishing on the lips. I love pairing this with Lisa’s Skin Tint for a minimal, natural everyday makeup look.
