WHY LISA CREATED IT

“I wanted to achieve with makeup what painters achieve with the ‘Velatura Technique’ – also known as ‘Veil of Colour’ or ‘Glazing’. The technique involved applying a semi-translucent wash of paint, which allowed for translucency, so the under layers of paint showed through, resulting in realistic colour shift, luminosity and added dimension.”

HOW TO USE

Swipe directly onto lips and blend onto cheeks with fingertips for a soft, buildable veil of colour.

For an effortless, low-maintenance monochrome look, tap a little onto the brow bone.

Wear alone for a fresh, dewy colour, or pair with Enhancing Tint for a perfected, skin-like base with a natural flush of sheeny colour.

Make sure to close your Velatura securely (push the cap firmly down until you hear the click) to keep your formula fresh!

    My Perfect Summer Shade!

    This is my second balm, in the shade Pomegranate Glace, and again, I love it! The color is beautiful, and I love how buildable it is; you can wear it as a light flush, or intensify it to a juicer, more saturated look (without it looking thick or heavy). It also wears beautifully, and feels like it's nourishing my lips and cheeks, rather than just sitting on top of them. This shade in particular us perfect for summer, and will be great to travel with. This is another welcome addition to my everyday routine, and I hope there will be additional colors released in the future.

    Pomegranate Glacé gives you the most beautiful flush as if you were in a Jane Austen novel. The color and texture are superb like all of Lisa Eldridge products. I love them.

    Gorgeous flush

    The Velatura balms are the only dual use (lip and cheek) product that I have ever used both ways. As a blush, it is glowy and super easy to apply. I swipe a little bit onto my cheeks and then pat with my fingertips. As a balm, it is quite comfortable to wear and feels very moisturizing. Love at first swipe!
