No matter the formula in which Lisa creates a red shade, it's always beautiful.
Initially I was nervous to buy this shade in the range, because I thought it may be too orange toned on me. But it's stunning. It's fresh and lively, and perks up my mood and my look.

In addition to my new favorite and go to Medici - I was excited to try this formula as well. I had trouble deciding between this and fig- went with this because my lips have an almost lavender hue- I’m light medium cool tone olive and wear skin tint t6.5 as a perfect match.
This color is so good. These are sheer yes- but this shade does have some payoff. It adds this hint of a deep raisin? Inky Merlot? It’s so subtle but it deepens my lips and feels hydrating. It’s one you can swipe on without a mirror- with or without a full face of makeup.
For someone lighter I’m sure it has more punch- for someone with a deeper skin tone I bet it’s also perfection as a balmy nude shade- it’s sort of a your lips but better shade for me- just sheer.
It’s like the more sophisticated and cushiony gorgeous reinvention of the sheer “black honey” shades I grew up with. This is less bright- it’s more moisturizing - and the packaging is also quite lovely- has some weight- and the magnetic closure is very satisfying.
