    Gorgeous, every day palette!

    I love this color palette. It's so classic and not too flashy for everyday. I have brown eyes and dark hair, so this is perfect, but I think this will look great on anyone. I love the subtle sparkle from the light colors.

    Beware! Severe allergic reaction

    I purchased the Betty palette. My eyes are hazel and super excited. Began using the colors. They are beautiful but all are lustre finish with lots of shimmer and glitter. I didn't pay much attention to that when ordering. I do not have sensitive skin, but I noticed a few days in I developed a SEVERE case of blepharitis. My eyes were swollen horribly, red, itchy, and purple circles underneath both. It was awful and painful and I couldn't leave the house for a week. I wore no eye makeup for several weeks. A few weeks later after the reaction cleared up, I used the palette again. Again I developed a case of blepharitis and I realized what it was. It's the only new item I added to my eye makeup repertoire. So I will not be able to use this at all due to the strong reaction from my eyelids and lash ducts. Beware!!

    Too warm for my complexion

    I really wanted to love this palette, but unfortunately, the brown shades are a little too warm for my complexion. I have a naturally light complexion and tend to prefer more neutral-toned browns, as warmer shades can look quite orangey on me. On the website, the browns appeared more neutral to me than they do in person.

    The palette itself is beautiful and the quality is lovely. I especially love the shimmer shades — they have such a soft, subtle shimmer without being too intense, which is exactly what I prefer.

    I just wish the everyday brown shades were a little more neutral. I would absolutely love to see Lisa create another nude eyeshadow palette with cooler or more neutral browns, perhaps even without the shimmer shades, for a simple everyday look. I would definitely be interested in that!
