LIsa’s online media Team assured me that this formula wouldn’t visually age my near-60 formerly plump lips. It isn’t aging at all, it is quite flattering, & very comfortable.

I needed a lipstick with a lot of purple tones and when I saw "New Wave" lipstick I really wanted to buy it but felt it may have been a little too purple for my extremely pale skin tone. However, I decided to buy it because any other products I have bought from Dame Lisa Eldridge's fantastic makeup collection have been absolutely beautiful and utterly luxurious. When I put it on, I realised that it was the perfect shade of pinky purple I was looking for without a heavy grey base tone weighing it down. The colour is exquisite, and the texture is sublime. My favourite colours are blues, greens, and purples, and I realised that "New Wave" looks gorgeous with my "Betty" and "Myth" eyeshadow palettes. I know "Myth" has been discontinued, but perhaps if I beg and plead Dame Lisa enough, she will bring it back, like she brought back "Betty." I can't, for the life of me, understand why such a beautifully coloured eyeshadow palette would be discontinued. I think people are a little intimidated by strong purples and dark reds. As an Irish woman who usually has the lightest skin tone in most skin tints and foundations. I also have hazel green eyes and very dark brown hair, so these glorious jewell tones and colours suit me very well. I'm sorry this review is so long, but I have nothing bad to say about "New Wave" lipstick. Be brave and try it. You won't be disappointed. It's absolutely beautiful.
