Big Day Beauty: The Lisa Eldridge Team's Bridal Looks
Two Weddings in the HEAT and my makeup did NOT budge!
I’m half Thai and half English, so it was only right to have two unforgettable weddings, and Lisa was with me for both.
My first wedding - the ‘official’ one - was all about London… We got ready at Hazlitt’s, drank coffee at Bar Italia, had an intimate ceremony at Islington Town Hall, dined at Quo Vadis and ended the day with a Soho pub crawl.
I couldn’t have done any of it without my best friend, hairdresser extraordinaire, and Lisa’s righthand makeup powerhouse - Jessie. She did my makeup at 10am and it did NOT budge on one of the hottest days in August. I wore vintage Miu Miu, and Jessie said “let’s do a vintage/Audrey Hepburn-esque thing”.
OF COURSE Lisa Eldridge products were all we needed... For base: Jessie used Seamless Skin Foundation with Solar Light. For eyes: a little Kitten Flick, with Vega and Fawn for sculpting. And lips: my engraved Audrey Rouge Experience with 2C. It was all perfect - Thank you to North & Veil for beautiful photos!
Cut to December for the BIG THAI wedding…
I was SO overwhelmed - even typing this I still can’t believe it - but Lisa did my makeup (!!!) What an absolute honour.
The ceremony was on a small, private island in Thailand, which meant we had the sun, heat and humidity. We also threw in a boat ride, so we had some sea air as well. I wore a golden, off-white, sandy-toned dress from Galia Lahav.
I wanted to go for a golden, glowy, chilled, sun-kissed sort of look. So, Lisa used Seamless Skin Foundation with Solar Light. (For SPF, I used Torriden SPF 50 - which I tested for months beforehand). For eyes, Desert Gleam with a little Kitten Flick. Lastly, for lips, she chose 2C with Ashes of Roses. My makeup did not budge and I felt like the best version of myself!
All my incredible bridesmaids were also wearing Lisa Eldridge (enter Jessie, the legend, powering through all 8 of them!). For the cherry on top, I gifted each of them a Lisa Eldridge ring :D
Finally, we headed to Bangkok for a fun shoot in our wedding outfits. I tried to copy the makeup Lisa did (using every, single one of her tips from her YouTube channel! ). So, to round it off, I’ve tested two cities and one beach wedding with Lisa’s products!
There’s something so special about finding makeup that still feels like you..
...especially on your wedding day. After trialling what felt like endless foundations, I kept coming back to Lisa. I needed products that would look beautiful both in person and in photographs, survive every happy tear, and still feel effortless and natural from morning until midnight.
I chose Seamless Skin Foundation for my complexion, and for lips, paired Sculpt and Shade in 0N and 1N with Velvet Fawn. This became my perfect wedding lipstick: soft, timeless, and comforting in the best way.
The day itself turned out to be far warmer than we ever anticipated (30+ degrees in the leafy Midlands), but the Skin and Makeup Enhancing Mist was an absolute lifesaver, keeping everything fresh, hydrated, and glowing through every hug, dance, and emotional moment.
It was the most beautiful day, filled with so much love and joy, and I truly couldn’t have felt happier, or more like myself. Thank you, Lisa!
My wedding in 2024 was a real whirlwind!
I got engaged in April… and married in September! After a summer of chaotic wedding planning, it was important to me to set aside some zen time on the morning of the wedding to get ready and in the zone. I didn’t want an entourage of people around me while I got ready and opted to do my own makeup with my mum.
Complexion is the most important part of any makeup, so it was a no-brainer that I could rely on Lisa Eldridge to keep my skin looking it’s best all day and right into the night. I started with a calming skin-prep ritual (accompanied by a candle and my pre-wedding playlist) and gave myself a sculpting facial massage using Seamless Skin Enhancing Treatment Cleanser and some ice-cold face globes, followed by the Skin & Makeup Enhancing Mist. My complexion products on the day were Seamless Skin The Foundation (METICULOUSLY following Lisa’s red carpet skin techniques) and Elevated Glow in Solar Light for that all important glow.
I was extremely lucky with my wedding dress...
I managed to get my hands on a Vampire’s Wife Sky Rocket dress just before the brand sadly closed down. I wanted my hair and makeup to remain quite classic and timeless, but with a slight nod to the 70s to compliment the dress.
On my eyes I wore Fawn Eyeshadow Palette, Seamless Glide Eye Pencil in Ground Coffee, along with lots of fluttery individual eyelashes.
My lip was a chaotic combination of quite a few shades, but essentially it was Sculpt & Shade Lip Pencils in 1N and 3W and Insanely Saturated Lip Colour in Sunday Matinee.
They say your wedding day flies by so fast, so stay present and enjoy every moment of it. I can say I most certainly did, and the last thing on my mind was having to check on my makeup. Thank you Lisa! xx
