I was amazed and delighted, to discover this is no ordinary lip gloss. To me it's a a slightly lighter texture of lipstick in a lovely tube with an a doefoot applicator.
Really good staying power and colour is true to photos.
Very satisfied with this product and will be purchasing more in different colours as soon as I can.

Compared to most liquid lipsticks, this one is incredibly comfortable. I thought this would be a good formula for daily use but I really miss the creaminess of the rouge experience, which is the formula I have been using daily.
Color pay-off is amazing, though, and the application is very smooth.

I have quite a few Lisa Eldridge lipsticks now but my fave formula is definitely the liquid velveteen. I’m very pale so this colour is quite dark on me (more a “going out” colour than an every day one) but the tones and quality are always second to none. My fave colour in this range is fawn and I would loooooove the Blush Lightly in Velveteen.
