To be honest, my first impression of Kensington Plum when I took it out of the box is I want to put it on my eyes (can this be made into a Liquid Lurex Eyeshadow . . . hint, hint). I thought at first it would be a little too brown for my liking but it did pull more plum when applied. I love the shimmer. It is beautiful on its own but it really shines on lipsticks to give them dimension. I am not a lip gloss or shimmer in a lip gloss kind of girl but I am glad I picked this one up. Plus, I love the artwork. I have that displayed on my bookshelf.

This is a stunning lipgloss and perfect for the festive season. I love this formula anyway, as its so moisturising on the lips, however the plum shade with the gold sparkle is just stunning. It's smooth on the lips and not glittery! I use it either alone or with the 3C lip pencil!
