@Foxiepawstotti 9th August 2018

I like your channel because you apply makeup like I was taught by my mum who was a real glamorous Heddy Lamarr lookalike. The whole concealer thing on YouTube is OTT! I put concealer in places that need concealer, I also got a great tip on Wayne Goss' s channel. He says that you should put concealer on the shadow of the eyebag and it works! Obviously it makes sense to not put a lighter concealer under the e es if you are trying to cover that area. This in my opinion would simply highlight the problem area. I do use a tiny bit of a lighter concealer on the outer corners and under any eye baggage and around my nose because I have some broken capillaries which probably came from my horse riding past...being from halfway between Aberdeen and Inverness the weather used to be wild at times but mum used to slap Nivea or Ponds on our faces so we didn't get wind burn too much. Woah..really off at a tangent with no punctuation! Losing the plot with that and my eve more regular Senior Moments lol! I was just informed that it isn't broken capillaries around my nose, apparently I had quite a large Strawberry mark under and around my nose and a little bit on my collar bone and on the back of my neck...you live and learn lol!

@dauser4 28th February 2018

every youtube/instagram beauty guru should see this video

@katiethomas5889 2nd February 2018

Before I watched your videos I would always apply too much skin makeup on! Then I threw out my foundations and my skin got a bit more clear. Now I use good skincare on my skin and only spot cover and powder and it look so much better. Thanks a lot <3

@kanikadogar472 20th January 2018

Idk why when I apply concealer it appears as really shiny and artificial looking on photographs.its like my undereyes have a flash..is it coz I'm using the wrong colour or the concealer itself is bad? Or is it because of the technique?

@eylulsonmez7328 22nd December 2017

@MsFrancescaF 22nd October 2017

Your blouse is awesome!

@HufflepunkNya 7th July 2017

I far prefer this to the giant, thick clown triangles of super-pale concealer no matter what you're doing or what look you're trying to achieve.

@mtke971 17th May 2017

please show us how to cover the dark circle. the normal concealer is not working on my dark circle, and it just makes my dark circle more obvious... I don't know why

@Yarita00 25th March 2017

I was hoping for different concealer suggestions as you did with the primer

@doeeyedfaun4020 21st January 2017

Lisa, I am a 38 yo woman with normal, non sensitive, non acne prone skin. My complexion, wrinkles, etc. is quite good for my age, except for my one problem area. My undereye area is dark with loose crepey skin. I have tried many concealers, tried light setting and baking. I end up with either no concealment, or creasing, or a dry desert looking under eye. Please help with any suggestions you may have.

@Anita-wh4vr 3rd January 2017

Hi Lisa. Thanks for the great tips. Even if the video is already "older", I would like to ask you whether you have an idea for my problem. I am 45 years old and therefore have fine lines under my eyes. In addition, the skin is very very thin and always slightly dehydrated, but also a bit oily. Now my problem is, that Concealer always instantly flakes, even if I shortly before prep the skin with extra moisture. Even foundation for dry skin is immediately flaking. I have really tried all kinds of Concealer, also very expensive one. And anyway, it's getting flaky immediately. What to do? Do you have an idea? Thank you ;-) I learn so much with your videos. (sorry for my english..)

@kirstysneddon8130 15th December 2016

does anyone know what number or colour the Clinique airbrush concealer is called? :)

@jannatew5675 13th November 2016

What brush are you using to blend in the beginning ?

@huajiluhai 15th August 2016

I love her tips and calming voice lol....these videos deserve more views!!!

@TrappedinSLC 14th August 2016

Anyone have recommendations for light reflecting concealer NOT in the pen-brush thing? I've had horrible luck with those going weird and moldy if I even look at them wrong, I don't know why. (Like well within the use by date, applied to clean skin only, not used in an unusually dirty environment... I think they just hate me.)

@retooluvyuhx5569 11th June 2016

omg ur voice made me feel so sleepy xDD

@sylviacanonaco3504 17th May 2016

Hi Lisa, I adore your videos and can't tell you how much I've learned from them. I am 51 and have been struggling to find a good concealer that hides my pigmentation. I am fair skinned and my skin is dry, and have a large pigmentation patch on my forehead and a medium sized one dead center on my right CHEEK. Yikes!!!! They are not too dark yet just annoying enough to be noticeable and it REALLY bothers me. Is Laura Mercier sc good for dry skin? If not then what would you recommend? Also can I use Mac face and body foundation on my face (hate looking like I have foundation on) when I need med/heavy concealing for my pigmentation? PLS HELP!!

@alexw1698 27th April 2016

I really appreciate how you just get straight in to the point in the video.

@rebbieandfamily 19th April 2016

watching this in 2016! :)

@DebWashington 22nd January 2016

Hi Lisa! I have a concealer question?? I am a mature woman, that's about Halle Berry complexion. My problem is the corners of my eyes. I don' t know what color or what brand name products I should be using for an Afo-American women. Can you suggest a brand(s) that I can look for a concealer and a under eye brightener? Thanks and I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL, Debra

@fallingbaby 12th January 2016

What do you think about the new trend baking?

@reb7940 5th January 2016

You have such beautiful & flawless skin and were struggling to find blemishes to conceal :-))) Great video though, Thank you for the pinpointing tip, I shall try it

@dazzlings 18th December 2015

Oily skin and living in the tropics. Most days are so hot and humid. I insist on transfer-resistant foundations and sunscreen. I don't have any concealers that meet this criteria yet.

@Tahiha 8th October 2015

I personally do not believe a person should try to cover all their blemishes. But I do appreciate the simplicity of your techniques

@amyeades9327 3rd October 2015

Lisa, would you please do a tutorial for concealing severe dark circles, especially for those with deep-set eyes? Thanks so much. You are always so encouraging. Your videos are a treat!

@msanna4 17th May 2015

Hi, can someone help me with a little detail here. I have blue/purple veins (under my eyes) and blemishes. What color of concealer should I use to mask all those ?

@tsukinohana6 12th January 2015

Hello Lisa, may you consider doing a tutorial about powder for setting foundation and what are the best out there. Thank you! XOXO

@milkshayyyy 2nd January 2015

Hello, may I know what brush did she use to blend her concealer in? Just wondering, for the blending of concealer onto blemishes/acne, is it better to use a soft fluffy brush? Like similar to the kind you use for blending eyeshadow? Thank you x

@destroff2exciter 14th November 2014

She looks so young without makeup.

@yb6734 4th September 2014

Lisa seriously you're the best in makeup , how you explain , how you use , how you talk everything . You are truly professional and the top of makeup artist i've never see . Seriously i'm in love with your tutorials .

@ethemoon 24th August 2014

I am a professional makeup artist for 30 yrs in the industry and have been watching Lisa's videos. I can say that she does excellent makeup and her approach is exactly what the top artists in the industry do. Thank you for sharing Lisa!  You are fantastic!

@vlsimmons1000 3rd August 2014

What kind of consealer is that

@MsUltraKawaii 14th July 2014

Hi Lisa! Could you please give me an advise: I have very thin "chicken" skin under my eyes . All concealer that I've tried only emphasize that. Should I avoid using any concealers or is there something that can work for me? Thank you.

@Camden1313 6th April 2014

What we do without you Lisa? I went to a make up "course" today with a group of friends, it was more of a make up sales promo in the guise of a tutorial session. Frankly we all knew more than the make up artist thanks to your videos :) I mean at the end of the day it was just a bit of fun, but it made us realise just how invaluable your videos really are. So thank you for your time.

@Motherhood1 16th February 2014

hi! would you use the laura mercier camoflage under the eye? thanks xo

@itsameashaley 15th October 2013

I've been struggling with covering blemishes so I'm definitely going to try this out. Thanks!

@nadiazucker6940 25th September 2013

You're wonderful! Thank-you.

@myrna_m 6th September 2013

My undereye circles are really, really bad too. You could try a concealer like Dermablend, Vichy-Dermablend, or Keromask, which have very high coverage (they're used for covering tattoos etc), or a salmon/yellowish toned concealer to counteract blue in dark circles :) that's what I've found works for me.

@emmamc1983 4th September 2013

Help please! I have severe dark under eye circles & I find most concealers only cover 50% of the darkness. Could you please offer done advice?

@sareediaries 29th August 2013

U r so AWSUM!!

@safamohammed6099 17th July 2013

Which brushes did you used?

@TheF5s 19th May 2013

I really find this series very helpful; I have under eye veins and I have no clue how to hide these with concealer?

@MrAnavuu 8th May 2013

Hi Lisa, I have a dark spots on my cheek, where the blusher should be :( I was using BobbiBrown creamy concealer and I wasn't satisfied. It doesn't cover my spots. I have available only brands like Estee Lauder, Dior, Lancom, Shiseido etc. BTW, my foundation is Clarins ever matte number 108 sand. I would like to try Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage but I'm not sure. Can you please help me to chose the right concealer? thanks in advance

@officialmadeup 9th April 2013

Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage is a great concealer for covering spots :)

@claregross446 4th April 2013

Hi Lisa, I have a rather unsightly red spot on the bridge of my nose (not sure what it is). Would you reccommend using laura mercier for something like that that's hard to cover up with normal liquid concealers? I've recently heard about an Australian brand called Thin Lizzy (not to be confused with the band of the same name) but I'm really suss on their products. p.s. love your work as always!

@hellogeeoh 2nd April 2013

It can go on either way actually.

@BertolinaSissa 28th March 2013

I cant stop watching your videos! i always learn something!!

@cicisissi9339 24th March 2013

Oh that's a good way to learn for me :D

@MakeupCoutureTV 24th March 2013

I love her videos so much!

@LauraStar127 19th March 2013

It goes on after, because if you apply foundation after your concealer, it will smudge all your concealer work!

@roundbunny 13th March 2013

Hi Lisa, does concealer go on before or after foundation? Thanks!

@LoliceMe 11th March 2013

Well, most of the more popular gurus don't use webcams. They use DSLRs. They need to to get that good, HD quality. I don't think there's anything wrong with making a living off of youtube as a beauty guru, though. They say it's a superficial community, but pass all the gossip and drama, I don't see any harm in it. People who let it bother them so much seem more jealous than anything else. Seems like they'd wish it was them instead making easy money. xD lol

@geekoftheweek27 10th March 2013

Lisa doesn't get paid for her videos... Did you ever notice that you don't have to watch ads before her videos? That's because she makes enough money doing her artistry, and these videos are just something she does because she's wonderful, unlike all these 'gurus' with a webcam.

@LoliceMe 5th March 2013

Well on youtube, with the right number of viewers and networking, you can get paid to be a just a make-up/beauty guru too. xD but mad props to Lisa. She, if any of the people on youtube making videos talking about make-up, knows what she is doing.

@vborg1115 26th February 2013

This helps me a lot :-)

@OuttaEgypt 22nd February 2013

The last time I checked guru was synonymous with artist. But thank you for the correction, nonetheless. Although, I view Lisa as both a guru and artist.

@OuttaEgypt 6th February 2013

I've been watching your videos for a while now, and I love how unpretentious your tutorials are. A lot of makeup guru's here on Youtube will share their wonderful tips but I find that some of them can come off as pretentious and even somewhat condescending. But you're so natural and personable, and that really helps when you're a novice such as myself, and trying to figure out how to wear makeup properly. Thank you!

@redsonha 30th January 2013

Dear Lisa, I absolutely adore the way you explain the use of make-up ! You helped me to finally make sense of the jungle that make-up world used to be for me. Now I actually know what I'm doing and enjoy the process ! And the fact that you have such a soothing voice makes me want to watch your tutorials over and over again ! Thank you, thank you, thank you !

@namakuferlyn 25th January 2013

hi lisa, im from indonesia, i just wanna tell you that your face really looks like indonesian celebrity, MTV VJ named Cathy Sharon. please take a look by urself. You might have a long gone twin sister =p Both of you looks so pretty...have a nice day

@rvggarcon 24th January 2013

What about powder over the top? How is this supposed to last all day?

@cathyyoches1596 17th January 2013

What would it be called in other brands. Is it a pressed concealer? Just trying to find equivalent type product for pin-point concealing. Thx!!

@lamarquesadidi 17th January 2013

I just love how you take your time!

@MiMixAwu 17th January 2013

How can I cover hyper pigmentations ?

@211Rainbow 5th January 2013

I think it's a No.7 one.

@dcfenili 5th January 2013

HI Lisa, What brush are you using in this video with the Clinique Airbrush?

@jackalicious27 3rd January 2013

So the concealer should be the same colour as the skin not a touch lighter??!! Thanks for this xo

@crisp_apple_strudel 30th December 2012

I'll try to find something similar here in Italy, for sure! :-) Thank you again, have a great 2013 you too! :-)

@YasmeenQ 30th December 2012

Happy to help! Try SPATONE (a liquid iron supplement) available from Boots chemist. Its high quality, (better than tabs & jabs which flush out with 0 result) fast absorbing. 2 spatone sachets mixed into fruit juice every day for a month will make a massive improvement. I would say try this for 3 months. It worked on me & my family members. Take VIT E & evening primrose in tablet form daily. Hopefully you'll see a difference. Have a great 2013 :0)

@crisp_apple_strudel 30th December 2012

Now i'm using a cream based on vitamin K, give me by my dermatologist, but i don't see any improvement in almost 4 month. Truth is dark circles are part of my face: i have sunken eyes, like my mum, my granny, my aunts, it's like "the family-panda curse!", and actually i'm also anemic, sometimes i need to do iron infusion, no one can "fix" my iron level, apparently. But i'll give a shot to your remedies, never say never! Thank you, and happy new year.

@YasmeenQ 30th December 2012

Hi, try Vitamin E & Evening Primrose Oil for skin nourishment, trust me it works on skin/hair/nails the lot! Plz get checked by doctor that your iron levels are normal cos low levels, bordering anaemia can cause severe dark circles. Almond oil also known to nourish dry eye skin, lighten dark circles if applied warm 3 times a week, before bed (provided you dont have nut allergies). I was very ill once & suffered from dry skin, dark panda eyes. A proper diagnosis & natural remedies helped :-)

@YasmeenQ 30th December 2012

hiya, you may need a Corrector (Bobbi Brown do various good shades) to cancel out any blue/purplish undertones. You may require a concealer on top to lighten & lift the area but sometimes the right corrector shade can do boths jobs. Bobbi brown MUA will help you find the right match of corrector/concealer. Hope that helps :-)

@YasmeenQ 30th December 2012

hiya, my mum suffers with very dry skin so makeup is a hassle but she uses good mositurisers with Vitamin E & esp face oils at night to nourish skin fast. Flaky bits rub off easily next morning, leaving smooth skin for makeup application. Hope it helps ;)

@YasmeenQ 30th December 2012

hiya, I have red areas on my cheeks, nose etc, I use MAC select cover concealer; a liquid concealer which is a light formula and blends in perfectly. Avoid creamy paste concealers which are heavier on skin ;0)

@OliverKick 24th December 2012

i get really excited when i watch these foundation and concealers videos because i get it, and i think i can do it. Thanks

@XOGeoXO 12th December 2012

Also I really like my concealer but he's really thick so I wonder what should I do.. Should I mixt it with cream or anything ? And finally to buy a concelear where should I test it to macth my colour ? on my neck or my cheek ?

@XOGeoXO 12th December 2012

Hi, I have large red areas on my face, should I use concealer to hide them, isn't to heavy ?

@lemonoui 3rd December 2012

Love you!! All your tutorials have been really really helpful and useful for me aww Thanks for sharing your tips xxx

@heartshapedsoul 20th November 2012

Some people put concealer BEFORE foundation. What's the best way to do it and why?

@FM897 15th November 2012

You look like an amalgamation of Nigella Lawson and Keira Knightley.

@aulae 11th November 2012

maybe try a heavier moisturiser or a creamier concealer?

@CaaarlaaaM 4th November 2012

@CaaarlaaaM throughout*

@CaaarlaaaM 4th November 2012

I tend to only use concealer on my blemishes, but my skin is very dry so theoughout the day the dry skin always seems to push through the concealer and make my skin look flaky and dry. What do you think could fix this problem?

@heelrunner 29th October 2012

Apparently I knew what I was doing. XD

@mimagenta 21st October 2012

Perfect for me

@isobel64 10th October 2012

would have loved to see you use the laura mercier one..the way you mix it

@Mallikinney 5th October 2012

Concealing my dark circles is something I just never get right. I've tried stick concealers, liquid ones, colored concealers,also the clinique one ... but even if I mannaged to hide the redness, the very blue-ish-purble circles always shine through. I'm doing something pretty wrong it seems.

@natalialopez1197 2nd October 2012

it helps me a lot!!

@MrCWARAK 8th September 2012

@yxvywyv yes i mean it even i was suffering from wrinkles from the age 38 years. But It was my unforgotable days when i use a effective wrinkles removal method and still there is no mark in my face and body parts. tons of people are following the methods described in ths cilp. have watched here >> bit.ly/RJQRIl?=eizyzp

@randomsummergirl 6th September 2012

Can you use the airbrush concealer on other areas on your face or is it best to use under the eyes?

@TheClassics4 9th August 2012

Oh thank you!!

@V1ckyK4r1 8th August 2012

Your accent is so great; I imagine I'm getting tutorials from Mary Poppins

@killjadeskye 28th July 2012

same goes for me.but then again, I guess it all depends on the texture of concealer..

@happycabbage777 9th July 2012

In the areas where my dark circles are I have a hard time getting concealer to stick. It's almost as if the skin is too slick, although its not oily! If I try to use the blending technique in the video all the concealer would be gone! I have to dab it in place and not touch it with anything until I apply powder. Any suggestions?
