Anything Goes Liquid Liner - Dark Olive Green
If theres ever been a time to play around and experiment with liquid liner... now is the time. In addition to simply lined upper lashes, classic kitten flick and extreme cat eye there are all kinds of edgy, arty, out-there creative shapes and colours gracing the pages of the glossies (and the runway). Newer formulations, and more importantly packing solutions, mean application is starting to get easier (still takes practice though!).
In the video I mess around with a colour that from the minute I saw I was drawn too. this dark olive green shade felt a bit different and flattering for autumnal nights. In terms of the shape, stick to shapes which suit your eyes and go as edgy as you dare. Remember that most peoples faces are pretty asymetrical especially when in movement (talking etc), so dont beat yourelf up if you dont look like a photoshopped advert when your done. Its more about having fun with make-up. I've tried to include lots of tips for getting a good application, like applying the liner looking straight ahead and keep pulling back to check, so hopefully it'll be a useful one as well.
There are some pretty amazing shades of liquid liner available, so choose a shade you love (with your heart not your head) and start creating!

This makes you look like a crazy person.
This eyeliner style is all the rage nowadays! Ahead of the curve
Wow! ✨ super cool love olive gold greens
That look is one of the more outstanding applications Lisa has done for herself.
I absutely love this, your eyes look amazing. I don't think I can carry this off as I'm much older with very hooded eyes x
If you decided to use black liquid eyeliner ,what colour eyeshadow could you use?
so beautiful
Very theatrical and Cleopatra! I wish you could see the look of horror on my face sometimes when you begin something this off-the-charts. I'm sure you're about to paint your whole head olive green.
Wow. Stunning look Lisa, your eye colour look so intense
It reminds me of Twiggy :-)
I feel so lucky to have come upon your channel lately. You are the real deal and your calmness helps me to pay more attention and learn. Your a great teacher and your good at what you do!
I’m afraid I made a total mess of this one 😖
You are wonderful <3
This was so ahead of its time, I love it
no one can be as good as my beautiful Lisa <3
Sorry. I know this look is very in at the moment but I don’t like it as much. It’s too heavy.
Love this look! it's so lovely and reminiscent of 60s eye makeup. I want to try this
Wow your eyes look huge in the most beautiful way. Seldom seen people wearing olive eye makeup. So beautiful that I am crying now
such a cool look. you are soooo gorgeous! such an inspiration! I watch you religiously everyday!!!!! #muchlove
<33333
how beautiful! you always go for nautical looks, and it is beautiful. but I think a bold look is also really spectacular, and makes your eyes pop!
just wonderfull!
Does she have heterochromia? Also, she looks a lot like Christa Miller. And sort of Natalie Portmann.
I am sooo going to try this! It's fab!!!
Very 60's... Need a beehive!
Would be a good Poison Ivy look!
LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!
Hey Lisa I was wondering how I can keep my bottom liner from smearing after a few hours. I wear liquid waterproof liner mostly and it smears also if I use pencil. I use concealer and set it with powder and my liner will still smudge after a few hours. Any advice? Thanks again
You are really guru for me. Thank you xoxo
OMG. That's fantastic!! I'm always scared to try new eye liner designs, but this video has kind of taken that anxiety away.
Adorable...usually that's what I do for drag queen makeup, just more exaggerated. Thank you
Not only have I got hooded eyes but such crepey eye lids sooooo annoying !!! Jagged lines all around. Can't do anything remotely dramatic.
Wow it actually looks so gorgeous at the end
Wow! The make up looks like what a female villain in a Bond movie would wear.
Love the eyeliner, and love your ring! May I ask where you got your ring?
I love your voice :)
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
It looks really nice on u, but I wouldn't like it on me! Love your videos.
Can u do a video on how someone can make their eyes look more slanted and more up turned at the outter corner? :/ like idk I can exactly word this question the way I want lmao
Ohh my! I'm absolutely in love with this look
Easy and great look
This is the look that got me to subscribe. I love it so much! Quite bold and mysterious.
Lisa i absolutly love this green colour and i think the whole makeup look is sensational. i really love your videos and makeup looks theyre amazing and so inspirational. Much love, Kathryn xox
So different, but I really love the final look!
That is a quite unusual makeup, but I love it! I think I'll try it on my next ballet performance.
I like ur ring...soooo cute... :)
Great tutorial.
Love the look! Pretty!
She said that A LOT of Korean and Japanese women have oily skin, which isn't really offensive, and well it's not exactly a stereotype either. I would've understand your comment if she'd said something that was actually offensive and/or racist, however she didn't. Please think a little before you comment such things.
Geez, oversensitive much? How is saying MOST Koreans have oily skin (a scientific fact and a completely neutral observation!) be offensive?! It's as if I was offended by saying "most Germans are blond," just because I happen to be brunette. Also, I have oily skin, what do you consider so awfully offensive about that, should I be ashamed of my oily skin?!?
U always look so different but nonetheless GORGEOUS
Your eyes remind me of butterflies with this look. Superb :)
she looks like Natalie Portman with this make-up
I have that eyeliner but in black and I love it
Is it just me or does she look a little like kristen stewart??
you need to calm your shit down
you need to calm your shit down
You look beautiful! :P
She looks like Natalie Portman a bit! haha, too lazy to see if I spelled her name correctly (x
The colour of your top is fabulous for you! You look great in jewel tones. Oh, awesome makeup!!! x
Simply beautiful
What liquid liner you recommend? I have the MAC and I cant get along with it. Please Help. Thank you
When I saw this I thought Natalie portman
Where did you get your ring?! I love it
she can make the uggliest make - up colors into something so beautiful..
I like every step you taught, it's simple but giving great result! I like the way you talk....I just adore you soooo much...you're the best! ^^
Am addicted to makeup tutorials, I think you're the best and most helpful one here!
this reminds me of an anime/cosplay style....
in this toutorial you looks like natali portman
I don't think there would be an occasion for me to wear this look, ...and this is the reason why I particularly appreciate this kind of tutorial. Because I have never seen something like this in my life, I mean, since I subscribed to beauty channels, it's original and crazy and I freaking love it! Even if I'm not hazardous enough to try it :/
You remind me of Keira Knightly, so gorgeous!
where can i wear this make up ? it's really pretty <3
she said 'most koreans' not every single one of you don't be so sensitive
Your eyes remind me of Natalie portman

totally agree Xauren!
To say it's olive it looks great :) x
She's worked for Shiseido before and has formulated makeup for that brand, which is specifically for Japanese customers. I honestly don't think she was stereotyping skin types rather than speaking from her own personal experience as a makeup artists. Just my two cents.
A little odd....
*With the exception of Baume Embrace Melting Lip Colour, which contains a food-grade, soft vanilla flavouring, that does not contain any allergens
It’s truly amazing how an elegant intended makeup had been integrated into nowadays alt fashion!
